At the Tour of Andaman, riders taking a break, with opean views side by side.
Stopped for views, stayed for the selfies!

If you think cycling is about pedalling wheels and piling up kilometres, think again. The Tour of Andaman – Edition 5 is not for the ordinary. It is India's only island cycling tour, an adventure that redefines exploration, adventure, and interaction with nature. Surrounded by turquoise seas, green rainforests, white sandy beaches, and a rich cultural heritage, the Andamans offer an experience that will leave you breathless in more ways than one.

Andaman Tour is unique in comparison to any other.

Leave the city jungles and traffic-congested roads behind. Here, you'll pass through mangrove forests, sea bridges, rainforest preserves, and shores where the only traffic is the sound of crashing surf and birdsong.

From the historical sites of the Cellular Jail to the unexplored delights of Shoal Bay-19, from sailing by the Jarawa Reserve to relaxing on the twin islands of Ross and Smith—this is not a journey; this is a paradise journey. Read through to experience what you will witness when you're on the tour with us this edition of the Tour of Andaman.

Day 1: Tour of Chidiyatapu

Location: Port Blair Highlight: Flag Point 1943, Cellular Jail, Mundapahad Cliff

We begin where history resides—Cellular Jail, where India's struggle for freedom unfolded. Experience the whispers of the past as you roll out of this iconic monument. From here, the path leads you to Flag Point 1943, where the tricolour was raised on Indian soil for the first time ever during WWII.

We don't just ride to Chidiyatapu's sunset point like other tourists; we do more. A quick 3 km hike to Mundapahad Cliff uncovers huge vistas of the sea, making you feel as if you are standing on the edge of the world.

Day 2: Peaks, Ferries, and Secret Shores!

Mid-ride pitstop, where sea meets soul!

Route: Port Blair → Ferry → Mount Harriet → Shoal Bay-19 → Back

Begin your day on a ferry—yes, this cycling tour has sailing as well! Once you cross over, you'll climb Mount Harriet, the Andamans' second-highest peak, with views so stunning that they were once featured on Indian currency.

The walk down takes you to Shoal Bay-19, where a peaceful mangrove stroll unfolds into a beach that is your own personal paradise. Unblemished, unspoiled, and profoundly soul-calming.

Day 3: The Rainforest Convoy and the Bridge to Middle Andaman.

Route: Port Blair → Jirkatang → Jarawa Reserve (Convoy) → Middle Andaman

Today is reserved for nature's untrammelled loveliness. Ride through South Andaman's green countryside and arrive at the Jirkatang Check Post, which opens into the Jarawa Reserve—a protected forest through which no bike is allowed to pass, yet the trip becomes forever memorable.

From here, a convoy drive leads us deep into the rainforest, beyond tribal territories and into the very heart of Andaman's wilderness. Next, a ferry ride takes us north, and the Austin Creek Bridge, the islands' second-longest, greets us to the middle zone. The adventure just got a notch higher.

Ride. Pause. Sea. Smile.

Day 4: The Ultimate Ride – 150 km of Pure Endurance Road journey: Rangat → Morisdera → Mayabunder → Diglipur

Now is the toughest day on the tour—a 150 km ride through some of the most remote and stunning scenery. Along the way, we stop at Morisdera, where river and sea come together in a stunning, spiritual union of the elements.

We cross over at Mayabunder, proceed to the Burmese settlement, rest and have some tea, and proceed towards Diglipur. Each turn, each climb, and each stretch is an experience.

The physical test is true—but so is the payoff.

Day 5: A Pedal-Free Paradise – Ross and Smith Islands' Enchantment

Moments like these remind us why we ride.

Activity: Rest + Island Visit

It's time to catch a deep breath, bask in the sun, and enjoy pure island heaven. Ross & Smith twin islands are linked by a sandbar, which can be crossed on foot during low tide—a dreamlike spot straight out of fantasy.

Swim, sun, or just stand and appreciate the white sand and blue water contrast. This rest day is as badly needed as the toughest climb.

Later, we take a ferry south, our heads full and hearts even more full.

Day 6: Return to Port Blair – A Farewell, Not a Goodbye

Location: Port Blair

The ride ends with a return to Port Blair, as the riders share laughter, memories, and invitations to reunite. With a final breakfast at Diviyum Manor, we close the chapter on a story that feels too wonderful to end.

But some journeys never conclude. More Than Just a Journey Tour of Andaman – Edition 5 is not a ride. It's a celebration of freedom, camaraderie, nature, and grit. It's India's first and sole tour where you ride islands, cross seas, climb summits, and walk sandbars within a week of memories to treasure. Restricted opportunities. Life-changing experiences. Come aboard the ride of a lifetime.
