Riding at Tour of Andaman
7 Days. 5 Islands. Countless Stories.

The wait is over.

The official routes for the 6th Grand Edition of the Tour of Andaman are now live, and we couldn't be more excited to finally share them with you. This year, we've designed a route that captures everything that makes the Andaman Islands magical — tropical forests, remote beaches, historic landmarks, hidden waterfalls, mangrove ecosystems, island communities, and some of the most breathtaking coastal roads you'll ever ride.

Whether you're already registered and planning your training or still wondering if this ride belongs on your cycling bucket list, these route maps offer a glimpse into the adventure that awaits. This isn't just another cycling tour. It's a journey through one of India's last untouched frontiers, India's Only Island cycle tour.

Day 1 – Arrival & Pre-Tour Briefing: Port Blair

Your adventure begins the moment you land in Port Blair.

As the aircraft descends, you'll catch your first glimpse of turquoise waters, lush forests, and endless island horizons. Welcome to the Andamans. After checking into Sea Shell Coral Cove, you'll meet fellow riders from across the country, share stories over lunch, and settle into island life.

In the evening, we'll gather for the official Tour Briefing where we'll walk through the route, safety protocols, support systems, and everything you need to know before the wheels start turning. By the end of the evening, one thing will be clear:

The adventure has officially begun.

Stay: Sea Shell Coral Cove

Riding towards North Bay Islands
This is what cycling dreams look like.

Day 2 – Port Blair → Mount Harriet → North Bay → Port Blair Distance: ~50 km

Wake up to your first Andaman sunrise and prepare for a day packed with iconic island experiences. The ride takes us towards Mount Harriet, the second-highest peak in the Andamans, offering spectacular views across the surrounding islands.

A ferry crossing adds another layer of adventure before we continue towards North Bay. Along the way, you'll encounter steep climbs, rewarding descents, dense forests, and endless ocean views. At North Bay, we'll trek to the historic lighthouse before cooling off beneath a hidden waterfall where lunch awaits.

Expect plenty of climbing.

Expect plenty of smiles.

And expect to stop frequently just to take photographs.

Every turn in the Andamans reveals a new postcard-worthy view.

Day 3 – Port Blair → Jirkatang → Baratang → Rangat Distance: ~50 km

Today we venture into one of the most fascinating landscapes in India.

After an early start, we head towards Jirkatang and join the convoy through the protected Jarawa Reserve Forest. Towering rainforest, ancient ecosystems, and an overwhelming sense of wilderness make this one of the most memorable sections of the entire tour.

As we emerge from the forest, the scenery changes dramatically. Mangrove-lined waterways.

Quiet beaches. Open coastal roads.

By sunset, we roll into Rangat — a peaceful island town that perfectly captures the slower pace of Andaman life.

Stay: Hotel Eden's Garden

Mangrove walk at Mayabunder
The road ends. The adventure begins.

Day 4 – Rangat → Mayabunder Distance: ~60 km

If Day 3 was about wilderness, Day 4 is about discovery.

We begin along beautiful coastal roads before arriving at Moresdera, where freshwater streams flow directly into the sea. Bring your playful side. You'll want to jump in. Next, we explore the famous Dhaninalla Mangrove Walk, wandering through one of the region's most fascinating ecosystems.

The day concludes in Mayabunder, where we'll be welcomed by the Karen community, known for their warmth, hospitality, and unique cultural heritage.

This is one of those days where the stories become just as memorable as the cycling.

Stay: Koh Hee, Webi Tehsil

Koh Hee Home stay at Mayabunder
Some destinations are visited. The Andamans are experienced.

Day 5 – Mayabunder → Diglipur The Queen Stage

This is the day everyone talks about.

The longest ride.

The biggest challenge.

The greatest reward.

The route follows the legendary Andaman Trunk Road through dense forests, remote villages, coconut plantations, and dramatic coastal stretches. You'll cross the Austin Creek Bridge, the second-longest bridge in the islands, before continuing north through landscapes that feel untouched by time. Every climb tests your resolve.

Every descent reminds you why you came. And then comes the final approach to Kalipur Beach. The ocean appears. The finish line approaches. The sunset arrives.

And suddenly every pedal stroke feels worth it.

Stay: Pristine Beach Resort

Through rainforests, mangroves, and coastal roads untouched by time.

Day 6 – Ross & Smith Islands + Overnight Ferry Recovery Day

After the Queen Stage, it's time to slow down.

A short boat ride takes us to the spectacular Ross & Smith Islands, connected by a natural white sand bar that appears straight out of a postcard.

Spend the day swimming, exploring, relaxing, and reflecting on the journey so far.

As evening falls, we board the overnight ferry back to Port Blair.

Find a spot on deck.

Watch the stars.

Feel the sea breeze.

And relive every moment of the ride.

Overnight Ferry Day 7 – Port Blair: Tour End

The journey may end today, but the memories will stay with you forever.

After breakfast at Diviyum Manor, it's time to say goodbye to your fellow riders, pack up your bike, and begin the journey home. But something will feel different.

Because somewhere between the forests of Baratang, the climbs of Mount Harriet, the roads to Diglipur, and the beaches of Ross & Smith, the Andamans become a part of you. And that's what makes the Tour of Andaman special. It's never just a cycling tour. It's an experience you'll carry long after the ride is over.

Registered riders can now explore the route maps, elevation profiles, and key landmarks to help prepare for the adventure ahead.
