India’s Only Island Cycle Tour | 19–25 September 2026

Cycling in Andaman
Cycling through the Andaman Islands is a rare blend of tropical coastline, forest roads, and ocean-kissed island highways.

Some rides are about speed.

Some rides are about distance.

This one is about discovery.

The Tour of Andaman – Edition 6 is back from 19–25 September 2026, and if you’ve ever dreamt of cycling where the forest meets the sea, this is your invitation.

This is not a race.

This is India’s only island cycling tour.

This is 7 days of air, land, and sea — where you fly in , cycle, and sail across one of the most untouched ecosystems in the country.

Welcome to the islands. Welcome to the ride of a lifetime.

Why This Ride Matters

There’s something deeply transformative about cycling in the Andaman Islands.

Here, traffic noise is replaced by waves.

Concrete is replaced by canopy.

Deadlines are replaced by sunrise.

The Tour of Andaman isn’t just about covering kilometers — it’s about rediscovering what movement truly feels like.

Riding coastal highways with the sea on one side and rainforest on the other

Swimming in turquoise waters after a hard-earned climb

Sharing meals with locals in quiet island villages

Watching sunsets where the horizon feels endless

Every pedal stroke tells a story — of resilience, connection, and presence.

And in a world that moves too fast, this ride teaches you how to slow down.

What You Will Experience

Over 7 days, you’ll travel across islands, landscapes, and cultures — experiencing the Andamans in a way very few people ever do.

Day 1 – Arrival in Port Blair

Your journey begins in Port Blair. The island breeze greets you before the tour even starts. After check-in at Sea Shell Coral Cove, you meet fellow riders — strangers who, by the end of the week, will feel like family.

We gather for a detailed pre-tour briefing. Routes, terrain, safety, expectations — everything is laid out clearly. And yes, sunrise here is at 5:30 AM. Get ready for magical mornings.

Day 2 – Mount Harriet & North Bay (50 km)

Your first ride takes you toward Mount Harriet National Park, the second-highest peak in the islands. Expect panoramic views of Ross and North Bay Islands — postcard perfect.

A ferry takes us to North Bay Island, followed by a hike to a historic lighthouse and a refreshing waterfall dip.

Steep climbs. Flowing descents. Forest sounds. Ocean air.

This is island cycling at its best.

Day 3 – Through the Jarawa Reserve to Rangat

Today, we enter the protected Jarawa Reserve Forest via a guided convoy. Cycling isn’t permitted here — but driving through this dense, ancient rainforest is humbling. As the forest opens, the landscape shifts to mangroves and quiet coastal roads before we reach Rangat.

It’s raw. It’s wild. It’s unforgettable.

Day 4 – Rangat to Mayabunder (60 km)

We ride along the coast, stopping at hidden gems where freshwater streams meet the sea. Then comes the stunning Dhaninalla Mangrove Walkway — a wooden boardwalk weaving through a living mangrove ecosystem.

By evening, we arrive in Mayabunder, home to the warm Karen community — known for soulful hospitality and delicious slow-cooked meals.

Day 5 – The Queen Stage to Diglipur

The most challenging and rewarding ride of the tour.

We cycle along the iconic Andaman Trunk Road, cross the Austin Creek Bridge, and push toward Kalipur Beach. This stage tests your grit — but the ocean swim and sunset reward you in ways words can’t describe.

Day 6 – Ross & Smith Islands

A well-earned slow day takes us to Ross and Smith Islands — twin islands connected by a natural sandbar. Walk barefoot between two islands. Float in crystal-clear waters. Breathe.

In the evening, we board the overnight ferry back to Port Blair. Stars above. Sea breeze around. Silence within.

Day 7 – Goodbye, But Not Really

Breakfast. Hugs. Stories.

You leave with tired legs and a full heart.

This wasn’t just a cycling tour in India. This was a journey through nature — and through yourself.
