Tour for Friends covers beaufitul landscapes of Chikmagalur, a hill station in Karnataka (Western Ghats),home to the higest peak Karnataka. Trails through forests and grasslands lead up to Mullayanagiri Peak, Muthodi & Bababudangar. The forested Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, northwest of Chikmagalur, is home to elephants, tigers and leopards.

The Tour is a journey and no race designed to challenge the ability of the rider in conquering the mighty mountains of Malnadu with mesmerizing and breathtaking views above all.

Day wise Itinerary:

 

Day 0 - Bangalore to Chikmagalur, road trip by Pvt. Vehicle (22nd Jan 2021)

 

Riders arrive at Team Parikrama, House of Adventure, Bangalore (By Themselves). 

08: 15 PM - Start arriving

08: 45 PM - Pre-Tour Briefing. 

09: 15 PM - Dinner

09: 45 PM - Start moving for the D Day

02: 45 AM - Reach, Relax and Refresh at , Gear up for Day 1 of Tour for Friends. 

Start Point - Team Parikrama, House of Adventure.

End Point -  Tresca Hotel Chikmagalur.

Day 1 - 23rd Jan 2021:  Chikmagalur - Mullayanagiri - Chikmagalur. 

Climb the highest peak of Karnataka. (Mulayangiri) 

Start Time - 7:15 AM

Cut Off Time - 4 PM

Distance Covered - 39.2 KM.

● Air, train, or bus fare from/to your originating city of stay, unless specified. 

● Items of personal nature viz- tips, porterage, room service, laundry, mineral water, alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, phone calls, pony/horse rides, additional sightseeing tours/excursions not included in the itinerary, still or video camera fees, etc. 

● Any increase in fuel cost, government taxes, entrance fees, intra, and interstate taxes, etc., the tour price will be amended in accordance.

 

NOTE: 

 

❏ Entries are restricted to a group size of 30 participants only and will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

❏ All sightseeing is subject to weather and political conditions at the destination. 

❏ Guests can expect rain during their stay. Itinerary may be changed according to weather conditions. 

❏ The hotel confirmed will be as per the brochure or an alternate hotel of similar category will be provided. 

❏ It is mandatory to carry a valid photo identity card (Passport / Aadhaar card / Driving License / Voter ID card).

❏ Hybrid/MTB Cycles are made available to participants on request.

❏ Additional Charges of 2,000 INR will be laid on hiring cycles on direct cost.

❏ No-refund policy, however, tickets can be transferred and the same to be bought to the notice of the organizer.
