Summer is here; pack your bags for fun learning beyond the walls as Team Parikrama organizes Summer Camp 2020, from 2nd April – 5th April 2020.

Quick Summary:

Come on a Journey, a camp that explores and dwells deep into experiential learning. An Experience of lifetime, all nestled in a Private Farm close to Mysore and state forest (Nagarhole). Stay in a farmhouse or pitch a tent of your own and sleep under the stars.

Our host: Mr. Shiva is a farmer by Profession.

Enjoy the natural richness that surrounds the private farm as the river flows just a few km away or the dams and forest in all its beauty close to campsite adding some purity to the scenic setting. Become a part of the natural ecosystem with a story that is made of legend; every direction you look, there is human and natural history that absorbs you!!

Acres of the jungle, Plantation lush green, a wildlife safari through the dense forests, tractor rides, make friends with nature while there’s so much more to do.

We’ve designed 4 days, 3nights Fun Learning that your kid won’t forget for a lifetime.

How does this work?

-Pack appropriately

-Travel to Campsite by public transportation as part of learning along with the team.

-The photography team, we’ll do the rest.

When?

Assemble: City Railway Station, Bangalore @ 6am.

Things to keep in mind: 

With the idea of letting children enjoy a farm/village experience, the destination camping for children from 1st Grade to 7th Grade.

Playing the traditional games like the wheel and stick play, lagori, marbles, top, catapult and more we aim at introducing them to the village life through various activities like drawing water from the well, show them about grinding raagi in a pestle stone, churn butter milk, pound some millet, weaving etc. 

The Kids will be given a lifetime experience while they go on tractor ride/bull cart ride, the natural swing on the Tree branches and the farm animals in their natural habitat. The children can see farm animals. They are introduced to many fruits and vegetable plantations and are given insight into the many Ayurvedic plants, fruits, trees etc... 

Creating that learning atmosphere with excitement drawn from nature the child absorbs these activities and observations like a sponge. Forget the same old paintball or the swimming pool. Get down to basics and play team-building activities in the desi way. Get close to mother earth and do some farming, kite flying, cooking and serving the traditional way, tractor ride and much more!
